What Are The Ball Valves?

The ball valves are quarter-turn valves that have a round closure part, with matching rounded seats that can allow uniform sealing stress. They can also be named straight through flow valves. The ball valves are based on a rotating ball, which contains a hole in the center. This hole has to control the straight through flow when the valve is in the open position.

These materials can vary and are mainly bronze, copper, cast or ductile iron, and different types of steels. But the ball valves can also be made of brass, and even plastics, such as PVC.
