The Use Of The Solenoid Valves
In the chemical industry, the valves became a necessity. And the development of the industry brought a bigger use of the valves. Nowadays, the valves are used in several domains, but mostly in industry. There are a lot of types of valves that are now used in the chemical or other types of industry. Among them, there are the check valves, the directional valves, flow control valves, the relief valves, sequence valves, pressure regulator valves, load control valves, EGR valves, the shuttle valves, or the solenoid valves. These are the most common types of valves available today.
As you surely know there are a lot of types of valves. One of these types is the solenoid valve. Solenoid valves are devices made of solenoid, and are mainly used to control valve activation. They run only on electrical energy, and have various ways to control the flow of the different liquid materials.
The solenoid valve is very complex, and it is formed of bobbin, socket, core, diaphragm, bottom tap, top tab, fiberglass, coaster, and body. The most common type of solenoid valves, are the solenoid valves for gas. As the names says it all, these solenoid valves are used for the protection, regulation and control of the air and gas supply to gas burners and gas devices.
The distribution mechanism of the gases is a complex system that assures the fill of the cylinders, the fill with gases or fresh air, and the evacuation of the burned gases. There are several types of gas distribution mechanisms that use solenoid valves. But, there are only some types of engines that use these valves. Some of them just use some cylinders. For example, the engines that are used for the burning of different fuels, have only admission valves, and in some cases, just some valves through which the gas is released. The advantage of these valves is that they are very hard to heat, and so, they are very resistant to really high temperatures. This is absolutely necessary, because the solenoid valves are specially used when gas is burning, and therefore, the temperatures are enormous.
Also, the position of the solenoid valves influences the distribution of the gases. They can be positioned on the sides of the engine, they can be positioned on the top of the pistons, or they all can be positioned in one place. And, because the gas distribution is absolutely necessary, the use of solenoid valves is also imperative.
